Apprenticeship Program

Choosing the Industrial Engineering program at ECAM Rennes means getting your foot in the door of a company right from the start of your training. During these three years, you are a full-fledged employee working for a company of your choosing, guided by an apprentice supervisor at the company and a tutor from the school. You are the central actor in your training.

This work-study training produces engineers capable of innovation, project management, communication and working in multidisciplinary teams. It opens the door to a wide range of engineering roles in the development of products and services, the design and organization of their production, and all their associated support functions. Graduates work in a variety of fields such as production, quality, industrial methods, maintenance, purchasing, innovation, industrial property, engineering and research and development.

The Industrial Engineering degree at ECAM Rennes is offered as a 3-year sandwich program under apprentice status. Candidates are admitted via a rigorous selection process and upon finding a company that will engage in the apprenticeship program on their behalf.

The training is carried out in partnership with ITII Bretagne, and is based on the tripartite relationship between:

  • The school
  • The apprentice
  • The company

It requires rigor, organizational skills, involvement and commitment on the part of the student.
