General Engineering – A Profile

Since its creation, ECAM Rennes has consistently shaped the training and activities offered at the school to respond to real-world industrial needs. The course catalogue and programs are updated to reflect changes in the job market and there is a heavy emphasis on pedagogical development and innovation.

Admission procedures are regularly revised to align with reforms and allow high school and college students to access our training through different channels.

ECAM Rennes is accredited by the Commission des Titres d’Ingénieur (CTI), to grant engineering degrees at the graduate level (French equivalent of a Masters in Engineering). At present, the school offers 2 degree titles:

  • Masters in General Engineering (classic full-time student program)
  • Masters in Industrial Engineering (via apprenticeship, in partnership with l’ITII Bretagne)

In 2020, ECAM Rennes is launching a new program via apprenticeship: Masters in IT Engineering for Industrial Innovation. The accreditation of this diploma is currently underway and the first classes are scheduled to begin in the fall of 2021.

Graduates of ECAM Rennes have CVs that describe a technical and technological profile and real managerial skills (teamwork, project management, problem-resolution, etc.). Thanks to the combination of the different scientific fields throughout the curriculum, you learn to reconcile the technical and economic imperatives of companies with the civic aspirations of society in general.
